- Kincaid Mounds: The work of SIUC archaeologists is featured in “Reexamining Kincaid Mounds” in the fall 2010 issue of American Archaeology. This six-page article by Susan Caba gives an overview of the work that has been done at the site since the 1930s and showcases recent findings about the palisades and houses that once occupied the area and includes photos of miniature ceramic vessels recovered during excavations in 2009.
