RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Campbell is an anthropologist specializing in the bioarchaeology and archaeology of North America. As Associate Director of the Center for Archaeological Investigations, he manages a wide variety of grant-funded research projects that provide professional training and learning opportunities for students and recent graduates. He also serves as Interim Curator for the CAI, overseeing a staff of grant-funded researchers, graduate assistants, and student workers whose work fulfills the CAI's curation mission. He holds adjunct faculty status in the Department of Anthropology, where he serves on several graduate comittees.
